Carrillo Ballroom Construction Update and pics (April 25th)
We can now announce that the Carrillo Ballroom should reopen in June. It still looks like a mess in there with equipment, materials, and whatnot strewn all over the place but the go ahead to book various days and nights is in full swing.
Here are a few detail pics of the bathroom tiling and columns (though they're only partly done with the painting)
Thank you, Jonathan, for the update and photos of the Rec. Center restoration that includes the wonderful ballroom. I look forward to dancing there rebuilding is completed. I'd like to suggest a variety in dance type at the Carrillo Ballroom. These include cha, cha, waltz, fox trot, swing, rhumba, mambo, etc. A sampling of the ballroom dances available.
